The First USA-Philippine Delegation Chapter of the Adorno Fathers officially begins today. It started with the invocation of the Holy Spirit at 8:00 AM.. All Chapter Fathers gathered in the Chapter meeting room praying and asking that the Holy Spirit will guide them in their sacred duty to discuss and address important matters of the religious order and of the delegation.
To officially begin the Delegation Chapter, Cardinal Emeritus of Manila, His Eminence Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales, DD graced the gathering by presiding at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Also present was our Superior General, Very Rev. Raffaele Mandolesi, CRM
In his homily, Cardinal Rosales reminded us that God’s love cannot be exhausted. “it is the love of the Father that is reflected in our priesthood and it is that same love of God the Father mirrored in Jesus Christ.” He added that he sees fatherhood in the Chapter Fathers.
The chapter continued afterwards in the conference room with the, election of the two scrutineers and two examiners of proposals. We also began to report on the status of the Delegation during these last three years. More will follow!
