On June 4, 2019, Feast of Saint Francis Caracciolo, the Adorno Fathers and Brothers were proud to celebrate the Simple Profession of Vows of our two novices, Hanjam Eugene Habitan and Jordan Valencia. Hanjam Eugene is from Legazpi, Albay and Jordan is from Maragondon, Cavite.

The celebration began at 5:00 pm and was attended by our community from Lipa City, our Superior General, Very. Rev. Teodoro O. Kalaw, CRM, our Superior Delegate, Rev. Jason Caganap, CRM and one of our priests from the African Delegation, Rev. Jean Claude Musubaho, CRM. We were very honored also to have as our main celebrant, the Bishop of Daet, Most Rev. Rex Andrew Alarcon who came for the Feast of Saint Francis Caracciolo and to attend this event. Priests from the Diocese of Daet and the families of our newly professed also participated at the Mass.

During his homily, the bishop reminded the newly professed to “Continue to choose to be joyful by continuing to be immersed in the Word of God. Be joyful servants. With humility we find joy.
With humility we have courage. With humility we deepen our trust in God.”
Our Superior General, who received the vows, welcomed the brothers formally into the family of the Clerics Regular Minor. He reminded them to “stay on task and strive to build community and to be a good religious”.

A pleasant reception took place after the celebration and everyone was able to socialize and offer their best wishes and prayers to the newly professed. Brothers Hanjam Eugene and Jordan are now studying their theology at the Adorno Fathers House of Formation in Nairobi, Kenya. Please continue to pray for their perseverance.
