Two novices from our seminary in the Philippines professed their first vows on Pentecost Sunday last week. Brs. Noly and Giovanni are the first to do so since the opening of the Order’s Philippine foundation in 2002. The celebrations began with a solemn Mass within which Noly and Giovanni professed the four vows of poverty, chastity, obedience and of not seeking ecclesiastical dignities. After the Eucharistic celebration a statue of St. Francis Caracciolo was solemnly blessed and a reception held with the many guests that were in attendance. We congratulate our new brothers as they enter into the religious life and pray that God brings to completion the work he has begun in them.
